Chris Sawey
Artist/Designer/Builder/Maker

With an art degree from Emerson College in Boston. MA, Chris always knew a role allowing him to create full-time was where he truly belonged. After traveling the country full-time in his self-built tiny-home post graduation from art school. Chris spent over a year on the road documented his journey using the popular hashtag - #HomeIsWhereYouParkIt. Finally settling in Austin, Chris started his first business designing and building old, run-down vintage campers, most recognized today as the 5-star reviewed vacation resort known as "Austin-Glamping." From there, Chris honed-in his skills and created a design and construction firm business converting school buses and utility-vans, sharing his love for well-build tiny-spaces and life enjoyed on the road. The name of the company inspired from the old familiar hashtag from his travels, known today as #HomeIsHowYouBuildIt. The rest, as they say, is history.
